The windows are the same at my house. The doors are also the same at my house. At my house there is no statues at the side of my house. At our house there is also no monuments on the top of the roof.
Wow!! I am blown away with your use of the word 'monument'! What a great word to call the statue on the top of the wharepuni. Some great similarities and differences here. Another way to organise your ideas into what is the same and what is different is using a venn diagram. Have you used one before? I've found a short YouTube video that explains what a venn diagram is if you wanted to watch it.

My house is made of wood and bricks. Do you think the people who made the wharepuni in the 1800's would have had bricks to use? Why do you think this?
