Summer Learning Journey. Week 1, Day 1, Part 2. My home town.

Summer Learning Journey.

Now it is time to think about your hometown. What is special about where you live? On your blog, describe your hometown.

My home town is called Greymouth and it is not a city but a small town.
It has a really big clock tower in the centre of the town and also a large metal Christmas tree that lights up all year round.
We have mountains on one side and the beach on the other and a special mist that comes over the mountains most days called "The Barber" which is really cool looking but also very cold.
We don't have any traffic lights here like in the city and people are very friendly and helpful.

I would love to visit your hometown and go to some of the places you have mentioned. I have never heard of “The Barber” it sounds really cool! I also didn’t know that there is no traffic lights in Greymouth! That must get tricky sometimes!
You are so lucky to be living in such a beautiful and peaceful town like Greymouth. I definitely will visit sometime next year! I love going to the beach and being outdoors.

Have you ever been outside of Greymouth? Where in NZ would you like to visit one day?

Keep up the creativity and hard work
