Stranger than Fiction

 Facts
  • Corpse plant bloom only once every 4 years
  • It is the smelliest and largest flower in the world
  • Corpse flowers are protected by law as it is very rare


2. The Lithop
Facts
  • The thick pebble like leaves is the main visible parts of lithops
  • Unlike other plants the leaves of lithop are brown or grey
  • Lithops can be found in various colors like white, grey, pink and purple
  • Lithops will live for more than 50 years

Three Similarities between these two plants are
1)  They both like hot temperatures
2) The both have flowers that can be in different colours
3) They both have special leaves as well.

Three differences.
1) The Corpse plant is very large and the Lithop is very small.
2) The Corpse flower smells very badly and the Lithop does not
3) The Corpse flower is endangered and the Lithop is not.

    Those sure are some extremely weird flowers and plants! I like how you've set them out, nice and neat! Well Done!

    It is so amazing that the lithop can live for 50 years! It is also very strange that the corpse flower is smelly and big. It wouldn't be pleasant being around it. The fact that the corpse flower only bloom every 4 years is so sad because we want more weird plants!

    What would you choose - corpse flower or lithop?

    You are the only blog I have seen that has chosen the Corpse Flower! It is super smelly! The name is not very appeal either!
